Andrew is a retired computer software developer and architect. After completing 22 years in all aspects of software construction, from programming, to design, to architecture, on all computer platforms (mainframe, mid range and desktop machines. Andrew retired from the "rat race" to devote his attention to furniture and cabinet construction full-time.
Andrew has been constructing "things" from an early age, helping his father and brothers doing additions on their houses, etc. After graduating from college, he built his first house from scratch, doing everything except the drywall and heating/cooling systems. This was a "learning" experience as you might imagine. After that he settled into building cabinets. First starting on built in units and kitchens. Primarily working for family and friends while "getting his feet wet", he then progressed to furniture. Again, using personal acquaintances as his guinea pigs for his apprenticeship while he gained the experience and techniques necessary to create quality pieces. Since 1998, he has been constructing furniture and cabinets for "real" customers, attained solely from word of mouth referrals. All in all, this apprenticeship has lasted for 15 years before "officially" entering into the commercial world.
Andrew is self taught and has made many mistakes along the way. All of his knowledge has been acquired from reading books and magazines by the masters and other experts. But most importantly, he has learned by doing and then doing again, constantly refining his techniques and practices.

| Linda currently is an "aspiring" wood worker. She is constantly scouring Andrew's scrap pile looking for bits of wood to create her works of art while learning techniques and machinery. Linda currently is a freight manager in Greensboro and spends some of her free time in the shop. She is learning and constantly encouraging Andrew to be more frugal with his cut-offs to minimize waste!

By 2023, the world of education will be drastically different from what we know today. As technology continues to evolve, so does the way students learn. Startups are increasingly looking for innovative ways to revolutionise learning, and education app ideas for students are at the forefront of this movement. Education
app ideas for students
involve the use of mobile phones, tablets, or computers to facilitate learning. These apps are designed to make learning more interactive, engaging, and accessible. They can be used to supplement traditional forms of learning such as textbooks, lectures, and classroom activities, as well as to provide more individualised instruction. One of the most popular education app ideas for students is the use of gamification. Games can be used to motivate students to learn, as well as to provide real-time feedback on their progress. Games can also be used to teach concepts in an engaging way. For example, a startup could create a mobile game that teaches students about the solar system, or a tablet game that teaches math skills.
Another popular education app idea for students is the use of artificial intelligence. AI-powered apps can provide students with personalized instruction, as well as feedback on their performance. AI can also be used to track a student’s progress and to provide tailored recommendations for further learning. AI-powered apps can be used in tandem with tutoring services, providing more comprehensive support for students.
Finally, education app ideas for students don’t have to be limited to just learning. Apps can also be used to provide students with access to resources such as career guidance, mental health support, and other services.
